음악이 아닌 영화를 전공한 보배(bobae)는 음악이라는 도구를 통해 자신이 표현하고 싶은 이미지를 구체화하는 것에 오랜시간을 들여 준비해왔다.

섹시하거나 귀여운 이미지로 어필하는 가수가 아닌, 자신이 표현하고자 하는 “멋”을 다양한 방법을 통해 표현하는 아티스트로 기억되길 원한다. 무심한 듯 내뱉는 특유의 발음과 그루브에 충실한 박자감이 매력적인 보컬과 수준 이상의 기타 연주 실력, 그리고 예상 밖의 춤 실력 등 곡 성격에 맞게 자신을 표현할 수 있는 여러 도구들을 지니고 있다.

Majoring in film, she wants to be remembered as a “cool” artist, and does not want to appeal with sexy or cute images.
To express herself, Bobae utilizes her unique pronunciation, charming voice tone, her skills as a multi-instrumentalist, and the ability to showcase her visions through visual art.
Since debuting with her sophisticated and groovy single [ORMG], Bobae released a number of additional singles and has been showing off her talent, contributing in both songwriting as well as music video production.
